Yes, a new version of PsyPlan is near.

I'm told there are rumors about a full Windows version in the works -- please tell me more about the rumors. Fact is, it will not be Windows-based -- it will be universal and so can run on any computer. Technically, the programs are written in the PHP computer language with HTML (web page) access, and the output will be in web page and PDF (Adobe Acrobat Reader) formats. The new PPPPS (PsyPlan Professional Publishing System) will be available as open-source software (if Psychic Planner Inc. approves) and as an online service at:
http://www.PsyPlan.com/ZodiacEvents/

Who Am I

A Hermit
I am the hermit, the magician, the fool.
Knight of wands I'm not -- just look the part.
Going now to mountain's cave.
Hope you'll visit me there. -- Be cool.
- John G. Derrickson

Astrology and Me

I'm a Catholic. I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord... Was consecrated a priest when baptized in the Roman Catholic Church and ordained minister in the Universal Life Church. I don't want people to use astrology as a religion but rather as a science. The next paragraph may help explain.

Seems to me that all but the equal house system are overkill. Way back when the house systems were first devised, the purpose was to make it easy to discern the angles at a glance. Later, significance was given to the houses, much like significance was given to the signs and planets. More overkill. The really important considerations are angles, visibility and speed. But, what do I know? I'm just a scientist seeking the truth. My long-range project is to gather feedback from PsyPlan users to build a database for analyzing the validity and usefulness of astrology.

As an astrology scientist (not an astrologer) I focus on the scientific realities that may be the foundation of astrology. As a scientist I'm under no obligation to believe in astrology; actually, as a scientist, I must not simply believe, but rather question.

As a Christian I see no conflict between my religion and astrology. My religion teaches that predicting the future is a wrong activity. However, the teaching is not so silly to prohibit timing the sunrise and the moon phases, etc. We must take care that astrology is used like weather forecasting and doesn't become a religion predicting the future. I always recommend that a person who feels conflict between their religion and astrology should drop astrology and keep their religion.
